This application is the result of the collaboration of Dimitris Bakas and George Kounatidis. The purpose of this work was to create a tool that would help students and teachers of Eastern Church Music both, during teaching and during student’s personal study. The same purpose is served by the metronome function, which also includes a special original function, that of the emergency interpolation of triplets with “+1” option. The tables of frequencies of the diatonic scale is based on the Pythagorean ratios while the selection of the sound was made from simple sound generators, with the sole criterion that is should be distinct. With that in mind, there was not any additional effect on the selected sounds, such as, reverb and the use of synthesized sounds (voices, or instruments) was avoided. This application is designed exclusively for educational purposes. Its use in temples is not recommended, as this it cannot be in accordance with the ethos of the Worship.
